As part of our Strategic Plan, Improvements to Internet service is one of the key imperatives. Since I took office I have consulted with residents, staff, internet professionals and discussed with Internet Service providers about the challenges faced in providing better service in our region.
We had the opportunity to meet with the leader of the opposition, Patrick Brown to discuss the disaster we had on the 401 ahead of our meeting with the Ministry on September 18th.
We celebrated Canada’s 150th in Rockport on August 26th. Congratulations to the entire team of volunteers as we Celebrated Our River Heritage.

On this Canada Day Weekend I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to all of our Staff and Volunteers who make this such a great Community.

Some of the topics include livestock and small animals in rural lots and villages, Tiny living and Smaller homes, second units on residential lots, expanded marine facilities, seniors housing, waste management and Canada 150.
